Hamble Classics September 24/25th

Looks like a lot of fun, decent field so far (not that we actually care about the racing that much) and with it being next door to MDL Port Hamble, free berthing for us too

It's great that this is on, but for me (even though I'm at the other end of these fair isles), isn't it at the wrong end of the year, when the boat's probably looking well worn, and tired after a season of use, or is that just mine?

I confess that my deck needs reprinting but August is always good for varnishing, so my cockpit looks best at this point in the year.

There is Cowes Classic Week in July which is a week long event, so this being a weekend towards the end of the season is a nice bookend, so to speak.
