Currently looking at a Hallberg Rassy 352 from 1981.
Owner applied epoxy coating last winter which looks great.

Though I wonder if the boat had osmosis and how sensitive the HR352 were for osmosis.

somebody experience with HR's of that age and osmosis?

thanks for help

Not sure that it is right to infer osmosis because the owners applied an epoxy coating. We applied a prophylactic five coats of Gelshield when we last scraped back the hull. To me it signifies a well looked after boat unless you have reason to believe otherwise.

I had a 1990 HR352 which was afloat all year round since new, and that had no sign of osmosis. I haven't heard of osmosis on 352s.

Why not run a moisture meter over it?

It probably will be wetter than more modern boats but should be ok after a little while out of the water.
