Sunsetgirl was telling us at the weekend that an overnight on Halfpenny pier for a 36'er is now £14...!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Showers needed a clean aswell!
Although, they are meant to be modernising the pontoon at some stage (don't hold your breath!). Maybe thats where the money is going. It was £10 over night last year I think.
Still free during the day, stop just long enough to go to the fish stall and get a big pile of prawns, best eaten under anchor a bit further up the Stour!

It was £15, which is even worse, although we did have the Essex Pirate Radio ship next to us to keep us entertained. We thought Shotley represented much better value at the weekend - admittedly with a discounted rate. That said, we do love the food downstairs at The Pier at Harwich and it's a great place to moor up for the night if you like the feeling of sleeping on a roller coaster.
