Sounds like a good offer but what happens if a subscription hasn't run out - does it add an extra 12 months or will the unexpired portion be lost?

It added it on when I took advantage of the promotion last year.

So when it says £14.49 EVERY 6 months, that is not correct. How much will the second/third 6 months be? Thanks

Good point, I'll have to ask our subscriptions department about that.
In the meantime, I'd suggest taking the 12-month option, as we're likely to have a very similar sale this time next year...

Okay, here's what I've been told by our subs team:

This offer is for new subscribers only to introduce them to the benefits of being a subscriber.
The 6 month DD option means that they will pay the same price for at least 12 months (so two payments). If we change the price after this period, we will advise them at least 10 days in advance of this, as required by the Direct Debit guarantee.

or one payment for the year of £42.99. So cheaper by direct debit.
for that I get the hard copy and the iPad edition!

When one subscribes does the ipad edition get fulfilled on Zinio?

No you "free" iPad version with your print version is served by Apple in the App Store.

Zinio is a separate one and is the more interactive but you have to pay.

No that's fair Richard, I prefer the Zinio version but the news stand version is fine as I subscribe to the YouTube channel and aways watch the video content ahead of the fact of mag publication.
