I've got one, and very pleased with the way she sails too.

Not exactly the roomiest 27 footer but has full standing headroom in the saloon (6ft), they have a very seakindly motion and the long keel means she goes in a nice straight line also it is very well balanced and can be set to steer themselves quite easily. Some have been taken on long offshore cruises and even circumnavigated.

You will find it a bit cramped for cruising with more than two aboard, I've been to France with my two kids aboard and its a recipe for a mutiny, but they're just siblings doing what sibs do best which is fight constantly when in close proximity.

Have a look at the association web site at www.oycoa.org.uk
