Mick from Wilkinson Sails Burnham on board today for an hour or so to look at my setup. Not as bad as I thought, and some seriously worthwhile advice on reefing practice that has righted the wrongs.
I think doing 4.7kts at 30 degrees apparent on just the main was excellent. Especially as we had the third reef in.
So, the sails are in the loft for some tweaking, checking and rectification.
Very happy bunny now.
Back to the boat on Friday for the weekend, looking forward to taking the pontoon at Wakering, and sailing Miniboat round Potton Island in preparation for racing with the Roach Sailing Association later in the season.
