Had a Lombard marine mortgage?

It's the only thing I can recall having with them. Paid off in 2011.

Today I arrived home to find an apology letter saying they had failed to provide annual statements in line with their obligations, and a cheque refunding all interest for the period of the loan.

Took me (pleasantly) by surprise...

I had a Lombard marine mortgage in about 1980, I wonder whether they'll send me anything?

Me as well - I had 2 very nice cheques. All the interest I had paid on 2 previous mortgages.

Mine was taken out in late 1980s but nothing in the post for me.

I am with Barclays, statements issued annually, promptly and straightforward with no extra bumf. At the time I rejected Lombard as they were more expensive, Barclays is a ridiculously low rate above BOE BR, cheap money as the loan was taken out as the rates headed south to 0.5. Still, Lombard would have been cheeper with a refund, lucky buggers.
