So the marine director sees no downside to the system. If 6foot waves then the Hamble could host a South Coast surfing competion - LOL

Anyone spot any others in the boaty mags?

So the magazine has finally made it as far as Spain then, eh?

Unfortunately for you, us working types in the UK - and a few of the pensioners too - had a giggle at that story about 3 weeks ago!

Even so, it will be fun to see if any other tall stories come out this week. Things like "Jimi had a shave before going sailing", "Parahandy takes a neutral view on political issues." That type of stuff. I am sure there will be others.

Yeah Nick,

Liz picked up the mag yesterday. We get these mags about 3 weeks after you lot in the UK so there may have been a Scuttlebutt item about that time but I guessed I missed it as web access hasn't been good in the marina of late; BUT we were wired up in the apartment yesterday! (so added value to rental potential) and making maximum use of Skype.

Seraph was pre-inspected for MCA coding this morning and will be finalised tomorrow following stability confirmation. Then she gets inspected to Spanish requirements and then - charter (to 60 miles off-shore) here we come!
