GXSA Announcement - Matt Rutherford - Special event Friday April 19th

Oldbilbo is of course referring to one of the four events organised around Matt's receiving the Jester Medal for his circumnavigation single handed non stop of the Americas via the North West Passage and Cape Horn.
The four events are:
Matt will be visiting the UK in April and the Ocean Cruising Club will be hosting the following events:
17th April 18:30 for 19:00 Combined OCC/CA talk at CA House, London. contact 0207 537 2828 office@cruising.org.uk
19th April 19:30 combined OCC/GXSA talk at All Saints Church Hall, Oval Way, Gerrards Cross. SL9 8QB contact Paul Farrell
20th April 18:00 OCC Awards Dinner, HQS Wellington, London
21st April 16:30 combined OCC/Albin Vega. Fareham Sailing & Motor Boat Club, Lower Quay, Fareham. contact Mike Freeman 01296 712 684
So far we have at least 3 Jester Challengers who have confirmed that they are going to the Gerrards Cross Sailing Association presentation on Friday 19 April at 1930 hours. Gerrards Cross is easily accessible from London having a good train from Marylebone via Chiltern Trains and is just off Junction 2 of the M40.
The normal format for a GXSA talk is for the speaker to give an illustrated talk for 1.5 hours with a lively question session at the end. There is a break in the middle for refreshments.
