Gunwharf Quays- Bravo Class

I looked at this boat in Gunwarf Quays last weekend and can remember a posting about it. A search of "Bravo Class" does not bring anything up can anyone point m,e in the right direction to find out more about this boat please? Its the black/navy blue ex-RN boat with 3 exhausts for the gas turbine engines?

Thats cause the class are "Brave" not Bravo.

It's been around Portsmouth Harbour for a few years now....I've never actually seem it move...probably because even on red deisel, the gas turbines must cost a fortune to run.

I don't think it has any engines now which probably explains the lack of movement.

"Brave Challenger". Her owner, Wensley Haydon-Baillie, has just bought the two SRN4s at The Hovercraft Museum, allegedly so that he can cannibalise their gas turbines for spares.

It's a bloody expensive place to keep a houseboat then (not that I recall ever seeing anyone on board either).

Anyone any idea which one she was? I sort of remember Brave Archer and Bold Forrester (the bolds had stacks, not exhausts and were less like an MTB). Late 50's early 60's?
