I need two volunteers who are interested in radar, but are not experts, to try out a new self-study radar course. You need to commit to completing the course, which should take 5-6 hours (but not all at once) and keeping a log of the time you take on each section and noting anything that is unclear or confusing.

The course runs on your PC, and I can send it via email (11mb - so you probably need broadband) or via snail mail on CD. You need a reasonably fast PC (Pentium) with Internet Explorer 5 or later (although you don't need internet access).

bugger, only two

I would love to try it, surely 3 candidates will give you a better feel for the product usability!

pulllleaaaaze! You will get 2 for the price of one as SWMBO will also do it as a complete novice!

he's also asked for volunteers on Mobo, and there are several volunteers there two. I guess the first 2 earliest posters across both forums win

I would be a very good candidate, as I am very fussy and strongly favour clarity in teaching methods - and I am your lucky number 8 on this thread!

I'd be more than happy to help if you need anyone in future. I've used aircraft radar, but not maritime sets and I certainly would not qualify as an expert!

Cheers,

Mik

Count me in as well

As there are so many volunteers what about a larger group (equal men and women) as this will give you a greater indication of the market?

Just a thought

Count me in as well, although I'd probably need it sent snail-mail.

PM me if you need an address.

Always willing to test something new, though it looks like you are very well subscribed already. Have fast broadband.
