Was base for Radio Sutch and then Radio 390.Careful look will reveal the legend Radio 390 painted on the side.
Radio Caroline is moored in rochester at moment and can be seen by anybody crossing bridge.

One of the first pirates around to use forts.Was a sort of easy listening station,it may have started as radio Invicta.Lasted a fair while as I remember during mid to late sixties.A search for Radio 390 on the web produces more info than you really need.

thats in my neck of the woods. They used to be joined together by walkways. They were once used as a redio station during the sixties, good fishing area.
