We're leaving Lymington at 9am in a Predator 56, just joking its an Aqua Bell 33
flybridge fishing thingy. Should reach Guernsey around slack if we can average
about 17-18 knts. Anyone know of these boats ?

Cant see you doing 18 knots, but maybe you know better.
You should have no trouble going to Guernsey for the first time as long as visability is ok. Just make sure you dont get lost!!

Apparantly its a single 300hp visibility forcast good, just as well cos it ain't got radar

With that engine I'd have thought 15 - 16 kts cruising (assuming a clean hull) would be more realistic.
