They tick a lot of boxes for me.
I hear that they have assured handling and I like their layout.
Someone here skippered a 28 over to the channel islands a while back if I remember correctly.

Yes me (the 28)! And a very good little boat it was to. Not the fastest boat on the water but very capable in a moderate sea. Few issues with some of the fittings but I think a very good sea boat for its size and price. Good engine with a bow thruster makes it very easy to handle.
