Can someone remember the firm recommended for online ordering of guardrails.
Interrogating "search" produces gobbledegook.

I bought mine from M.R.Coates Marine, Whitby [tel: 01947 604486] by mail order.
Ordered on a Friday and delivered the following Tuesday [Monday was a bank holiday]

Jimmy Greene is one of the most expensive suppliers to the boating fraternity...operates just like Ryanair...looks cheap until you check it out. Honest!!

I had thought of replacing my guard rails - the snag is threading them through the small holes in the stantions if they have swages both ends. Anyone know the solution?

Usually you get them made with a swaged eye at the fore end and a lanyard eye at the aft end. The "eye" part of the lanyard eye screws onto the swaged stud after you have passed it through the hole in the stanchion.

Don't have mine here but I seem to remember the hole in the stanchion being 3/8" diameter and the swaged stud 5/16" diameter.

If you get a catalogue from MR Coates I think it has all the information in it, or they will tell you.
