Guaranteed better weather for the next few weeks

How do I know this? Cos I just got back from emptying the boat and putting her on the lift out pontoon.

Tommorrow she will be a landlubber. Today was the nicest day for ages only because I was packing up for the winter.

Feeling sad.

Weather will be good until the end of March 2010 when she hits the water again.

I reckon all things considered she's cost me £120 per engine hour this year for her upkeep.

Interesting comment. Did you find the p/x deal to be fair or just a case of needs must to get the new boat?

I popped down to ours this afternoon for an hour but didn't go out. Spending the weekend on her next week though, can't wait as more people put theirs away it leaves more room for me on the water.

whats wrong with using the boat all year round. we do and have had some of the best times in feb cruising in warm weather flat seas. great stuff

We got a very good deal but more to do with savings on the new boat than a good price px.I reckon we got about 25k less for ours than its worth but then we saved more than that above the normal discounts etc on the new one. Will reveal all when the boat is sitting in its berth.
The reason we have gone bigger is we have worked out how we are going to use the boat all year as well.
