The advantage of having the boat nearby, already been there today /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif back again tomorrow unless herself comes up with another dastardly plan to hijack the weekend /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I have also been on the boat this evening.

I am glad that I have booked the company workshop for the weekend.
Time to start painting the decks and cabin top.
Will be at it all weekend.
Would not be doable at home with that Gupacast.

What happened to 2-4 Variable. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Anyway.
Thanks for the information Will.
Please keep supplying these for as long as you can.

Well Saturday was certainly right - what a horrible day! Flipper was launched at 1230 just as the heavens opened again and the wind blew up! Still got out of the hoist without swinging the bow into the metalwork and onto a berth (usual spot occupied) without incident.

Problems still to sort:-
NASA wind thing I fitted over the winter showed nothing more than 10 kts all the time even when the boat was heeling under bare ploes and the wind howling through the rigging. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I know I have to calibrate it for angle but there is nothing in the book about calibrating for speed.

Log still not working - I thought at end of last season it was just gunged up but clearly not!

Previous weekend I was on the boat I left the spray hood up. When I got to the boat it was down, the straps had undone themselves and one of the elastics broken but worse of all part of the see through bit had blown through. Really annoyed /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif as I usually drop the spray hood when I leave the boat. So need to find some sort of tape to repair it with. Guess selotape wont be up to it!

Sill at least the boat is BACK IN THE WATER - HURRAH! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
