Anyone know what the depth is at LW? We're about half way between springs and neaps at the moment.

Not sure of exact figures but quite a bit - the Faro sailing school boat draws 2m and goes in and out on any state of the tide.

Thanks for that, it was dredged a couple of years ago but wondered if it had silted up again. Should be there around 1900 hrs if everything works

Was in and out of there many times last year with Go-n-Sail sailing school.
With about 2m of draught, we never had to consider the state of the tide at the bar.

Nice day for motoring! Left mooring 13.55, arrived at Guadiana outer buoys 1900 hrs, min depth from there 3m. Now anchored north of the bridge, which took 2 hrs against ebb.

That's why it's so quiet in Alcoutim In fact the whole river is quiet, only 3 boats anchored/moored at Foz, Larangeiras pontoon empty and spaces at Alcoutim & San Lucar, with far fewer boats on anchor than previous years.
