Hi everyone.
A short while ago I asked a question on here about fitting a bilge pump, battery and solar panel to a small dinghy.
The sequel to that is that I ended up buying another, slightly bigger GRP open boat.
I’m still keen on the idea of fitting the pump to the bigger boat but I’ve also had another hairbrained idea.
If the pump were to fail, is there anything on the market that I can put a SIM card in and attach a high level bilge float to so I’ll get a text when the high level float is trigged?
That way I’ll know I’ve got to go and bail the boat out immediately if I get a text.
