Is this site a dumping ground for grumpy old men? a review of the last few pages says yes, Next big question, have all the grumpy old men from the last few pages taken their boats out of the water for winter? Answer: put the boats back and live a little!!

hm, well, as partly reposible for some of the yak hereabouts, i feel i oughta explain. HOWEVER...surely someone who says "what a bunch of grumpy ole men" is ipso facto a bit grumpy! Hah!

Anyway, my boat is indeed out of the water BUT not in a grumpy way. in fact, i had qwite a few boatnotworking probs this season so i am much LESS grumpy with boat out of water than in, cos i am catching back on the problems at a furious and very non-grumpy pace.

Mind you, if i was stuck in cheshire with boat all loverly and working in sotogrande i wd be a bit grumpy. Mind you, be bordered by birmingham, manchester, wales and liverpool makes me fairly amazed that tony7 is somehow not grumpy. Maybe Tony7 is suffering from Munchausen's Grandad's Grumpy Syndome By Proxy.

Good there's no evidence of grumpy old woman - kind of balances out the hormonal changes dontcha think?! i.e. men are permanently grumpy later in life, and women become calm and placid following much hormonal activity... <g>

Re: Ke bar

well, i reckon it's a bit weird typing hohoho when wimmin go past, instead of actually SAYING something. Mind you, if you said hohoho i spect that mite not be the best opening line.

Anyway, baguette and chips for you tonite (again) and then watch the foopball on the big tellys sort-of not minding which side wins if in spain i spose, hm?

Yep - boat out of water and I was surprised at myself for how un-grumpy I was while working on it, whistley tuney - nicely worky. That was until I had to remove the fresh water pump to get at it....shashen fashen rashen dastardly!!! And other choice words.

Still trying to find nuff weekends to complete all those ickle jobs that don't get done when afloat.

I ain't waitin' 'til March though!!!
