Does anyone have experience or knowledge on how a grp Vertue compares to a wooden one in terms of its sailing performance, seakeeping.

I have had both and currently have an all teak Cheoy Lee (V119).

No difference in sea keeping but big difference in sail plan. Verue II has shorter boom, smaller main and easier reefing.Mine was cutter rigged with a bowsprit. This impacts on the performance of self steering (I had Autosteer trim tab system on both). However, there is (IMHO) nothing prettier than a long boomed Vertue under sail!

Aesthetically, no contest. If you came below on my little darling you would never go near GRP again!
