Grp sink, recoverable? or replace?

I've seen worse on older Westerlys, try oxalic acid on the rust spots, Milton soak on the bowl, and scrub with Cif. Might save you a fair bit. You could paint with two-pack, but not cheap and not easy to get a perfect finish. Flowcoat difficult as it doesn't behave quite like paint.

Would you like to buy a Simpson-Lawrence s/s sink to replace it with?

It just so happens that I have one (possibly two) that I was thinking of selling.

Indeed, except I have used bleach applied directly, wiped on with a cloth and left overnight. All the marks gone in the morning after rinsing.

This is the old sink in the longbow, can it be painted with gelcoat or something? or is the best option to cut out a rectangle and drop in a new stainless sink?
A stainless steel sink would be the most satisfactory but the difficulty will be finding a suitable sink the right size and fitting in to the existing galley
You will probably have to forfeit the little draw to the right and make some arrangements for the tap and pump.

I would have a go at cleaning up the existing sink
Sodium bicarbonate might be worth a try but I doubt it

I would start with hot water and detergent then Cillit Bang Limescale and Grime to remove limescale and any acid soluble muck
Then after washing that away bleach any stains with Flash Spray with Bleach ( don't mix the two!)
Regular cleaning with Cif, which contains a gentle abrasive, might over time , polish out some of the lighter scratches.

Nothing to loose by giving it a try.
