GRP laminating problem, with PVA Blue?

Hi guys n gals, can anyone advice what the problem is here. I ah e used PVA Blue in the past and has been a good release agent for moulds and laminating jobs etc.
What i have done is use MDF for this job and coated it with a poly resin to seal it, tonight i applied the PVA and it has puddled on the surface, as if there is a contaminant on the surface.
On that thinking i sanded an area down a little and it did the same.




All i can think of is that the Blue has gone off.

any ideas please.

When I've used this release agent I spray it on in several mist coats.

So do you know what caused it to happen.

I have always rolled or brushed it on.

It needs to be applied very thinly. As said, sprayed mist coats will do the job.
