Hey all (sorry, have also posted on Scutllebutt, want to spread the word as far as possible...)

HWMO and I are desperate to get our K30 into the water, and have various bits and bobs which need sorting. Some we could do ourselves, but a) don't have the time (have to sail the little boat while we can, see?), b) don't really trust ourselves not to botch and c) so can't be bothered after the traumas of earlier this year.

So we're looking for a good, reliable, reasonably priced GRP person in the Chi area who can come and do magic with our old boat, which is on the hard at Emsworth Yacht Harbour.

Also looking for engine person to have a look at our Watermota Sea Panther, which is partially disasembled and lying in parts around the main cabin. We have no idea where to start with it and, as before, want no truck with it, just want it sorted.

Suggestions, hearties, for GRP, engine, or both?

Many thanks in advance, Justine

You could take a walk down to Thornham Marina just down the road and ask John Cutler at Cutler Marine whether he would take a look at your engine. He is only there in the afternoon 2 - 5pm, but an excellent engineer, and very helpful when I had probs with my Bukh. Tel 01243 375014

Silverseal has the same engine and which is running perfectly, so you are welcome to come to Gosport to see it. I also have all the original Watermota manuals which you can phootocopy, as well as a modified wiring diagram, and the original. Are you going to the Kingfisher rally this weekend?

Hi there. Many thanks, might have to visit and pinch your manual for photocpying. I seem to remember you already kindly offered up your book for copying before hubbie and I disappeared for months. Woud be great to get a copy.

Won't be at rally this w/end, have a wedding to go to, as does Pete. Shame, but we'll have to organise another Kingfisher get together sometime later in the year.

Cheers, Justine

Would also second OldHarry re: John Cutler. He may well also put you in contact with Mark Savage regarding the glassfibre work; no complaints here. I don't know the EYH position these days regarding external contractors, but you can always ask.
