Grib Sites with Wave Height??

Does anyone know of a free grib site that does wave height without subscribing??
They all do wind/pressure/Temp for free...but do any of 'em do waves??

and download the NOAA ones in light blue for Europe/Med/North Atlantic/South Atlantic

Unfortunately not Brendan. You have to subscribe to the premier service to get wave height. Only the Wind comes for free. I used to use that one via the grib robot, but now use the French Meteo Marine...but even that dont do waves for free.

No thats a databuoy text service.
A grib file is an encoded file format which a chartplotter can use to overlay weather info on the chart.

www.weatheronline.com then choose the SAILING link. Gives wave height for next 7 days at a variety of times.

The wave heights mostly use the WWave3 NOAA model which does not cover inland waterways like malin, irish sea and thames so only useful in certain areas round UK. I have found the acuracy questionable anyway and find the 6 hour GFS wind GRIBs from saildocs more useful.

Only Online WW3 available from Westwind listed under Weather Charts / Wind.
