Apologies if this has been covered before but I can't find anything in the forums.

Just been reading this article:

Getting "stamped" in the Greek Transit Log

With some limitations this appears to offer a solution to 90/180 for third country nationals on a boat with a TL in Greece.

My questions are:

  • Has anyone else used the TL to stamp in and therefore not started their Schengen clock?
  • If so can this be done with an Unlimited Transit Log

Thanks in advance.....

In theory you need a seaman's book , as this is designed for commercial crew. Provided that you sleep aboard, with ashore kimited to the locality, you go to pp on joining and get them to stamp you passport out and also the TL. There is instructions on the TL. It has been used without a seaman's book. Give it a try
