I made this route twice. Once we crossover from Corfu to Brindisi( 105 Nm) and last summer we went from Corfu to Kotor in Boka Kotorska (Montenegro) (203 Nm). If you have any question pls. do not hesitate to send me mail.

From where in Greece?

The only route that fits with "...up the coast and then across" is from west of the Peleponissos and/or Levkada and across the north of Corfu, through the Straits of Ottranto.

I was in those waters last weekend and as usual there was a cross pattern of established swell and wind driven sea making sharp peaks and hollows. However, this time I was on the Pasiphae Palace in a nice warm cafeteria bound for Venice. I did it in April 2001 in the yacht and it was bloody murder.

You'll be fine if the boat's suitable.

Take a look at this:-*

Re: From where in Greece?

Should be a milk run except that the prevailing this time of year tends to be in the north. The water temp in Gouvia marina last weekend was 14C so after about 3pm, jump in just to keep warm.

Stop off at Agios Stephanos, there are tavernas open and it's a delightful anchorage.

can't see you'll have any problems.
