Hi All,
Just had a great three days boating and had to post something. For weeks been waiting for at least light winds and last weekend managed to have a great three days crusing around.
Saturday was planned to leave Southampton and head for Weymouth, but had second thoughts once in the Solent, therefore headed up the Beaulieu river and spent the night moored to a buoy - great peaceful evening and morning.
Sunday tried again for Weymouth and was pretty calm and in Weymouth by lunchtime, great afternoon walk and evening meal.
Monday calm again 27c and no clouds slowly cruised back to IOW and spent late afternoon anchored in Osbourne Bay.
So to sum most of the time Calm sea F2/3 and Sunny and temp around 24-27c, that's my fix for about a week. Look forward to the next trip.
