Sailing in Winter is a bit pot luck but we have just had a great weekend.
17 yachts from our club had a great trip in flat seas, moderate winds and sun from the Forts to the Folly Inn on the Saturday. Folly Inn was its usual good value food and table dancing afterwards.
On Sunday we got up early so had an equally flat run back before the forecast rain and wind got to the Solent. Somewhat surreal on Sunday morning to be sailing in F3 smooth seas and clear skies and listening to the Met Office saying gale 8 was increasing gale 9 soon in Dover, Wight and Portland

Hears to more winter trips

Lucky you it was the usual shite down here in the SW /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Hey Brian,

Agreed, fantastic sailing and party at the Folly after. You could even get to the bar and get a space on the tables for a dance!

With Odin's new sails we may even be close to you on handicap!
