OK ok, I'm being biased because it's a clip of Liz and myself, but it's a good one!

Yesterday we lashed the camcorder and tripod to the granny bars and left the video running. It just so happened we had to put in a couple of tacks within five minutes of each other so I edited it down to a minute into this little montage.

Yes, I have to say that was one of the best sails we have done this year. Some unpredicted southerlies and a close-haul, which Esper quite likes. Great fun!

Sorry for the dig! I was quite surprised to read the poor results on a cat - then they were only using 3;1 so.....
 
Wind speed varied 5kn either side of 15kn and our speed was anything from 6-7 SOG, with boat speed being a little faster since we were beating. All sails out but one reef in mizzen.
 
Another couple of years and we will be able to enjoy the same! Mind you if the problems on the Sub prime mortgages are worse than believed, I will probably be out their much earlier, as you cant sell software to banks when they are in a down cycle....
 
Great clip, although I did need to watch it 3 times as the first couple of times I couldn't take my eyes off..........
