Great service from Icom

I bought an Icom M411 at LBS in January 2008. It wasn't receiving when I checked it this spring. Considered buying a replacement as it was way out of warranty, but sent it back to Icom who said it shouldn't have failed and repaired it FoC, returned it in full working order the same week they got it, so I'm back in business for the cost of sending it to them (£11).
No connection with Icom, apart from being a very happy customer.

Should not have failed, though. There appears to be a build defect on these radios. See earlier post. Good on them for dealing with it nevertheless - mine was sorted last year on an similar basis.
