Great service at Mayflower

Arrived at Mayflower in Plymouth today and have to give a shout out to their service. We called at 9am from Fowey to reserve a berth and at 1pm when we arrived there was someone waiting with a welcome pack on the end of the pontoon ready to take out lines.

And you lot said AIS was pointless ?

Really great service and almost as friendly as Port Pendennis. Welcome pack not quite up to St Malo standards (free dry bag!) but included maps and a boat details form to keep checkin nice and quick.

I love mayflower. Ended up there when I had a slight “incident” with a rock. Then @zoidberg helped me back there post repairs. Great place. Nice people.

As I recall, the 'rock' was Cornwall. And lots of competent locals rallied around to help.
It's what we're about, innit?

Had my boat there 10 years ago, company of which I was GM put the wifi in, I'd moved down for the job and was looking to bring my boat down with me, liked the place so much I parked my boat there, he's a really nice guy.

But do they do it without you letting them know you’re there? They must have tracked us on AIS all day!
