You do meet some nice folks on the Forum, Derek (Camboria) has been down to my boat twice
today to try and fix my broken canopy and has mailed me to tell me of the problem.

Got it back from repair which included plugging the hole in the top where the old radar scanner
used to be (let seawater in) and trouble is its now too tight and one cant fasten all the studs.

I wnet down to thew boat, checked it was ok, checked my mate's rag boat, then went to check my other mates swordsman. See, I am a nice bloke despite what they say.

Ye. Proper pufftas. We had 500 Matchless and nortons and stuff even a Velloset with fish tail silencer and box sidecar.

Yep! I remember the Rockers too, they had all the ugly birds. The Mods had all the tasty ones that smelt of perfume and not grease.

You youngters, left toy scooters to the young kids, we were in to fast cars and booze then, well cars and booze, ok slow cars and booze. Wonder how you kepted going through 2 day parties we used to have.

So whats your point ? You dont think it necessary to thank people then. This forum is about
communication. Maybe we should all not contribute till we've got info on heroics or braving huge seas

Maybe once you've got a boat you will appreciate such actions as I thanked Derek for today or
then again maybe not.

Can we skip all this crap about boats, scooters and motor bikes please. Just post a picture of the 1922 Great Grandmother and I'll let you know what I think!!
 
Had a bonneville in those days, brother still has a thruxton vello. You'll see it at Glasson when we come a visitin'
