Grease dispenser...350ml Mayo bottle.

I very rarely start threads, but I just have to pass on this very practical way of storing and using grease on board.

The new smaller squeezy containers for Helmans are ideal, fill them with grease and when you need some just squeeze, you'll never get dirt in the grease, its clean and self seals. Maybe difficulty to get the last bit of grease out but just re-fill and keep one in the tool box. Its also very easy to use in confined spaces as they are only about 15cm high.

Good idea but some greases are available in 227 gram toothpaste -type tubes, e.g. Quicksilver. This avoids the messy business of transferring from tin to mayo bottle.

True...but its the self sealing outlet bit that works well and keeps the contents clean.
