Just seen a v nice Contest 55 enter the marina here - don't know much about them but looks like an oyster...

Just thought I'd mention the weather - given that the first pirate weekend I was free to attend in 5 years got blown out! Did I say how sunny it is?

there is/was a very good Italian deli @ the western end of the Hbr on a street that goes westward.
superb meat balls in tomato sauce & fresh pasta yum yum.
the first eatery on the stbd hand as you enter the Hbr used to do a real good value fixed price menu

Fecamp - restaurant that is the right hand one of a pair along from the marina. Family run, dad catches the fish - rest of the family cooks/serves!
Honfleur - round the corner to the left away from the Old Dock is a nice restaurant with fixed price menu. Did you know there is a pontoon and electric outside the old dock now? Loos/showers still about half a mile away near the bus station though .

In Fecamp now - just had a very acceptable sole meuniere "chez Nounoute". Washed down with a bottle of local Normandy Cider.

And when you've done that, go into the Caves in the square and taste some of their Calvados. If it is clear that you are buying, you may taste 4 or 5, which will be an education in itself. On the last couple of occasions we've bought 2 bottles - not cheap, but fantastic quality - and been very well served.
