Hi does any one know anything about this builder

Apart from being Danish I don't seem to be able to find out much else

Thanks

Ian

I know nothing about Granada boats except that there is one (a Granada 38) in Cork, Ireland that is raced competitively offshore and wins everything. Had won the Round Ireland Race, it's class in the Fastnet, etc. It is very well sailed by an experienced crew but also rates very well on IRC. It's called Cavatina if you want to google it.

Thanks for that, yup clearly a good boat. They seem to be well made, have produced a number of different models and yet nothing much about the company seems to come up in a search?

I believe Grenada Yachts stopped production back in the '90's when they were bought by Hanse yachts.
At that time Hanse were pretty small having only started in 1993 with only a couple of small models 291/292 which were 'bought in' designs originally from Aphrodite yachts in Sweden, they needed to broaden the range then and Grenada were probably a good prospect, I don't know what, if any, models Hanse built though.

Yup I'd heard that about Hanse although none of the boats that Hanse built around then seem to look anything like Granada boats that I have seen.
