GPSMAP550 or CP180?

I'm looking at both of these. They're similar priced & seem to come bundled with the carts I want. Both do AIS which is something I wanr.

I know of several free packages for connecting Garmin to a PC for waypoint loading. However, is there a free way to get the waypoints from a PC to the CP180. I can't find anything in the manuals or on the web.

Any other comments appreciated too.

woo, get the 555, much better resolution for a bit more cash. Also get the G2 Vision card, very cool, I use the AIS 250 from Digital Yatchs with mine, works a treat.
