I'm looking to replace my ancient Garmin 50 and confused by the choice available
Can any one advise. I have kind of narrowed it down to a Garmin 72 or a Garmin 76, the 76 being a bit more expensive but your advice might suggest something else. I've not had the chance to compare them in a shop.
Thanks
Dave

76...

The 76 has a much higher resolution, with over twice as many pixels, so it's probably worth choosing that over a 72. Otherwise, they're pretty much the same. Garmin products are good and have good aftersales support.

The Garmin 76 is your best bet, and you can get cables to trun off a cigarette lighter socket, also a remote antenna if you leave it down below. Go to the Garmin website and you can do a comparison of the models you are interested in - http://www.gpsw.co.uk do very good prices - Im also in the market for a new GPS but am waiting for the insurance money after a recent burglary!
