Bought mine from Hong Kong via ebay seems to work fine for both the boat and the car, but is only 8 channel (only 8? my old hand held is only 6!) whereas the much more expensive (3x) versions from UK are 12 channel.

One I was watching on ebay, (which has finished now but was number 5733975314), went for £29 plus postage from Hong Kong. That was 12 channel.

One of those sales where you put it on Watch and then miss it? Not too worried though because the seller seems to figure regularly. Also we have people visit HK fairly regularly.

You have to keep trying. I was persistant, and got a 12-channel one from Hong Kong for £ 20 + £11 postage - well pleased.

find one on e-bay, go in to sellers 'other items'. often you can find gps for sale at a set price.
