gps garmin 12xL to yeoman sport

Trying to link the two. Bought a power data cable for garmin. already had a data cable for yeoman. looked at wiring diagram and the wires from the garmin are thw wrong colour. I have yellow. orange red blue and brown and a power lead. not white, blue and green. has anyone any ideas please.

Roger that. Garmin does something tricky like using the -ve lead as one leg of the NMEA feed. I had a problem connecting a Garmin to my DSC radio because wire colours didn't match, but their service people talked me through it very willingly.
