gps chartplotter repair

Does anyone know who might be able to repair a "vision" chartplotter.Its about 10years old and uses "c map"cartography.It will not locate.I repaced it 2years ago with a garmin172c but it got stolen.if it dosn't cost too much I thought it might do me untill next year when prices may have gone down

Sounds like a prob with the gps reciever. Have you still got your Garmin one or did they swipe the lot? If you have you should be able to try that on the "vision " plotter using its nmea 0183 wires.

They took the lot.That will teach me leaving it moored on a lonely river mooring. There's safety in numbers.

I know a firm that do repairs, you can post it to them if you cant get to Angelsy. £35 plus any extras that might be involved, try Marine Electrical Ltd.
