Yes, very nice. Yes, good security and services. Nearest similar marinas are at Preveza and Levkas, about 70 miles away. Direct flights from Birmingham and Manchester in summer, airport about 5 miles from marina.

Down sides: one of the most expensive marinas in the eastern Med (though cheap by UK south coast standards). Full, possibly now with a waiting list. Sailing area though beautiful is very crowded in summer. New Greek cruising tax penalises yachts over 12 meters.

Awful place to get any work done but well run safe marina with great connections to UK. Sometimes they are more zealous than thoughtful like when they responded to pot holed pontoons by first filling and smoothing the holes (good) then putting a thick coat of gloss paint over fur whole pontoon. Great in rain.

Seen an ad for a boat in Gouvia Marin
Nice place? Secure? Other options?
Best (cheapest ) way to fly from Midlands?
TIA

It's a great Marina. I've had boats here for over 20 years.
Plenty of direct flights in the summer from Brum and East Mids.
In the winter, you need to fly to Athens, then onto Corfu.
20 euro ride to the Marina, from Corfu Airport, plenty of Taxis.
Here's the marina's spanking new website:

https://www.d-marin.com/en/marinas/greece/gouvia/overview.aspx

They have a policy on the Marina that you can only have your boat ashore for 3 months at a time.
Plenty of info on the this liveaboard page regarding the new (ish) Tax.
Lots of options to find people to work on your boat (Mechanical specialists, Rigging, Woodwork Anti-fouling etc)
So far this winter, we've had rain but also nice days. I'm still sailing my boat, and will be for about another fortnight.
Regards.

I do not want to open another thread... Is there a good motorbike rent in Gouvia (if someone has good experience)?

I can think of three motorcycle rentals, one in the marina, two just outside, and there may be more. Not a motorbike person myself, but I've rented a car from "Spiros Rent a Bike and Car" which was perfectly satisfactory,

I think it must have been Komeno Bay. It was just outside the Marina and there was a sewer pipe running right the way through, ( because I picked it up on my anchor one day !. also there was a small spit at the entrance where it was easy to go aground. But in those days it was called North Bay.
