Got WiFi in the habour!!!

Yippee! I'm on my boat, sitting in the cockpit, typing this message. Big storm clouds rushing by. WiFi is fantastic! I can work from here (translation work is all by email nowdays). Why go home?

Another thing. It's free to go online here. And no, I'm not in England.

Fair point, it was a bit smug, but I have been waiting for this for ages. Finally I do not have to drive the 20 miles to get home in order to deal with my e-mails. So I can now sit here and get to stink while I work.

What keeps you in the office in the days of mobiles and WiFi?
Maybe it's better to have an office so that you can put the work behind you. They do say not to mix business and pleasure, but why not work while on the boat? Disadvantage is all the neighbours who want to play, ask questions, borrow tools, drink beer, go out sailing, pass by in their dinghy's etc. The dog loves it here though. He sits in the dinghy and waits for someone to take him for a ride. Sometimes he manages to untie the boat himself and just drifts around the habour.

If I could work from the boat for a few days I would ....
