I moved to the South Coast in 2003 with no previous interest in or knowledge of boats. Did my PB level 2 in 2004 and in 2005 bought my first boat , a Larson bowrider with a 4.3l Mercruiser, from the guys in Littlehampton.

Ater 160 hours with the Larson, in 2007 I moved on to a lovely little Fletcher 19 GTS diesel and have up to May this year enjoyed 170 hours pottering around the Solent , cruising to and fro Weymouth and onward to Torquay.

The Fletcher is now up for sale as I now have a new pride and joy:

A Bavaria 29 Sport - which had my name on before I even saw it !

Thanks to Parkstone Bay Yachts, Power Marine Auto ( Poole ), Amanda ( Cobbs Quay Drystack ) Tony Mcgrail and Geoff S.

Glad you are enjoying Bobby, Bob.

Thanks for the appreciation too. I sincerely hope she brings you enormous amounts of fun.

Fantastic looking boat - just what I'm looking for! Is she the single or twin engine version?

Congratulations and I hope you have loads of fun with her.

She is a 2005 model with twin D3 160s ( 175 hours ) plus a bowthruster. Ancasta have a couple of Bav 29 with the single KAD300. I am now beginning to understand how easy it is to manoeveur with two engines and I am glad I idn't opt for a single. Good luck with your search.
