Eh? Well I've been faffing about trying to get at nuts under side decks - is it always the one's with awkward access that leak and need rebedding? I've been wrestling and brooding about it until I decided to get agricultural - grind the bolt heads off from the top. It wrecked the stanchion bases of course but I only needed to replace two. There are times when this plastic and stainless steel deceives me that boats are precision engineering. Now the next problem is.......

It's probably because access is difficult that they weren't installed properly in the first place!
