Google maps vs Navionics - Lat/Lon

Hi,

I have just looked up a place on google maps and did the "What's Here" function to return lat/lon.

Trouble is that this wildly disagrees with what Navionics (UK & Holland) tells me.

So why the difference - datum - WGS84 etc? Seems too big a difference for that.

Seeing as google maps recently erased a Scottish island ...

PS: I used google with sat view because it let me find the particular beach much more easily.

There was a hidden URL in that which didn't show in post? Seems to be mid sea?

Just click on it and it will disappear. Then zoom in and click on where you want and the lat and long appear but in decimal format.

Oh my gosh - I think that is my rushed school boy error. Decimal!!!! How silly! I will check.
