Looks like we might all be able to go sailing this weekend at last, after weeks of whistling and clanking in the marina. Even Scotland should be a bit quieter.

I don't remember such a long period of gales, do you?

Well Up here in Perthshire all rivers should be good for white water rafting . large areas are covered with water so you should be able to do some inland boating . Even sail up some roads .
Even become a hero delivering groceries and the like to farmhouses cut off by water .

Some good winds too !!

Perhaps we can achieve more than 150 mm of rain this month
