Lightening your darkness

If after a torch for work then right angle torches are great - that is why Firefighters and the military use them. Clip on the back means you can hook them on a belt or pocket and the light can be put where you want it leaving hands free to hold on or hold tools etc and they don't roll about (or roll overboard) if you set them down.
I have 5 onboard clipped in places where you need instant light. Military style ones are well cheap -either c or d cells from about £7 or try the Wolf ones which are higher quality jobs - see the links below. You can also get posher ones with LEDS and hazardous environment rated ones if you are using them near fuel.

Fully agree with 'Pleiades', I have a wolf right angle safety torch for work, it is a robust simple design, IP67 water/dust tight, and very bright.

There are a lot of votes for the LED Lenser, not surprising, it is the about the only reasonable torch you can buy at a department store. It will therefore be the best torch many people have ever seen, but there are better torches (some much better) available.
The Led Lenser torches are not well waterproofed and often have no regulation both these features are important in a torch.
