Got to thank Rocket Radio, I wanted a new hh vhf and couldn’t make up my mind between the Entel HT640 and the Uniden (President) Voyager.
The guy at Rocket was very helpful and patient, I wasn’t planning to put a phone order in but his attitude seduced me! Ordered Entel about 15:00 Tue, arrived about 11:00 Wed /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

PS: what swayed it was Entel has a plastic case and is a UK firm, Uniden has an Aluminium body - not so good in seawater!

Oops, maybe just a little gullible /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif They're a UK firm in the same way that ICOM, Simrad, Raymarine and the others are.

Entel UK was established in 1995 as the UK sales arm of Standard Communications of Japan, the communications division of Marantz.
