Credit where credit is due.........I ordered three halyards over the phone yesterday lunchtime from Farr Ropes in Sandbach. They arrived just now and they just ask for a cheque by return in the prepaid envelope supplied.
The rope is 32 braid made by Poly Ropes of Sweden. I can't afford/justify Dyneema so its what I call good cruising quality and indeed at first glance it looks exactly what I was looking for.
I'd never come across the company before, but I expect some NW people will know them.
